The notion of emerging technology to promote learning through experience
is more than creating an engaging and playful experience. In the article, it
explained Dewey’s intention of the term “an” experience. Dewey described
experience as a unity among its constituent elements, a possibility of how
things might come together, a dramatic quality (a powerful play) and an aesthetic
quality (idealized and optimal experience). Furthermore, Dewey’s philosophy is
not as simple as it sounds since many perceived it in the wrong direction. It is
to have sufficient educative experience, I believe, to emerge from not only
participating, but it creates and involves the learners in the learning process.
Also, he explained how ideas are powerful lenses to guide and reflect on
an actual situation. When emerging technology to create “an” educational experience, it helps students to transform their own experience and create
ideas that fully perceives the world.
